Little Santa - tree ornament
This little Santa is quick to make - he is made from red felt so only the colours need stitching.You can download the embroidery files (SEW, PES, JEF, DST and HUS) by clicking here.
Follow the order of the colours as given in the embroidery file (red, black, green, peach and two lots of white - this ensures that the red felt is covered properly with the white stitching in two different directions) and before the final red stitching, trim all jump stitches and pin another piece of red felt behind the fabric in the hoop. Complete the stitching then remove from the hoop and trim close to the outline stitching. Use a sharp needle to thread a hanging loop through the bobble on his hat. The second piece of red felt ensures a neat back as this may be seen when you hang him on your tree.
If you want to add any lettering (names, dates, "Thank you" etc.) across his belly, stitch this before any of the other stitching. |
