This card has a machine embroidered centre panel which was stitched on felt and then stitched, using one of the built-in stitches on my machine, into a rectangular aperture cut with a craft knife in ordinary card. (For instructions see below.)

The edge of the card mount was punched and embossed using one of my card border punches (available from craft shops or online) and the whole mounted on another sheet of (folded) card.

The white floral border is self-adhesive paper lace, bought on a roll.
